Texana, you wrote:

Karen, and all others here, how are we to find our true place in life? Are we to go about our business and let it fall on our path, or are we to pack our bags and get ready to go at a moments notice or do we meditate and the answer will come to us. What if we are afraid? If we don't take a risk we may perish without having lived, but if we step out in faith...how hard that is.

Dear Texana, and all others who ask the same question:

This is what I'm working on now myself. Our souls have a plan for us, in this lifetime. If we would like to get on the fast track to our soul plan, the work that would make us most happy in life, without compromising our survival needs (money, ug!)... then I would advise you to do two things...

I have found the best advise possible on this subject.... It is working for me now, but I have no finished answers yet... just an unburdened heart at this point with real hope (finally) on accomplishing my own spiritual goals and achieving true happiness...

1. Read Calling on ET's by Lisette Lindsey
2. Sign up to get on her email list. She is going to be offering an online course teaching us how to get enlightened knowledge and putting us on the fast track to doing the work of our hearts, while making a decent living.

Until I have mastered it for myself, I can only give you the best guide I have personally found on God's Green Earth.

May you make use of it, prosper and enjoy personal peace...
Sincerely, KarenESP

PS... Don't just sign up for the course, read the book too. It will only make the course easier for you to achieve.

Maybe I should try to answer it myself... I will work on this today and tonight.

Thanks again for your question Texana....

O.K. I'm back. Had to go out west for a change of scenery(business trip to Tucson) and when I come back I find this treasure. Thank you so much for addressing my question....the eternal question.

Maybe to see how other people live is an eyeopener. How we are different, and how we are so alike. The shuttle driver from N.Y. was very happy to be living in Arizona. The people in Arizona were SO happy it rained for three days because of Hurricane Marty. We couldn't help but be happy for them even though many of us were from the most humid part of East Texas and Texas Coast.

The Dalai Lama believes our mission in life is to be happy in spite of the fact that he has lost so many close friends through brutality. He does not stop making friends. He smiles and laughs and jokes. I have his picture next to one of the virgin Mary and next to items my son, Austin, gave me.

Thank you again, Karen and Cyg.

Love to you.

Nice to hear you sounding so upbeat!

Cy is editing my response... which is taking some time, it's kind of turning into an essay. Hopefully it will be done in the next couple of days... pleased to hear your comment about the Dali Lama because that's kind of what our essay is about.

On another note, you recall I recommended "Calling on ET's?" Well, the author wrote me again, thanking me for some experiences I sent her as a result of her book and soon to be released On Line Course.

Basically, the On Line Course is an instruction book, detailed, on how to get in touch with spiritual guidance... in Lisette's opinion, that guidance includes benevolent and spiritually enlighted ET's interested in lending thier knowledge to humanity.

Lisette wants to know who I might know that would be willing to give her course a try and give her feedback as to experiences they may have as a result.

I thought of Jilly, Cy and you. Would you be interested in this? The On Line Course is about 50 pages, printed off, and you can't share it with anybody.. eventually, it will be published on her web site... or at least I think that's what she's going to do. (It will probably also be included in her book, due 2004.)

So, if you might be interested, she gives some fantastic detailed examples and ideas on how to go about this... Let me know.

Anyone else who might come across this, please let me know if you are interested.

You're welcome, Texana... I know you've had a really rough time of things lately. I'm hoping, and Karen is as well, that what she's writing (and I'm tweaking :D ) can really give you a boost and help you out. Just from what I've read so far, it's very impressive.

It's so good to have you both responding to my questions. The book by Lissette is at the top of my list to read. I read the reviews on Amazon and they were amazing. Thank you so much for mentioning it.

Years ago, I read the book "Aliens among us" and according to their criteria....I am one. Yikes! It was so interesting, yet I had no one to share it with. This was after my Meditation group years and I was living in another town.

"The 12th Planet" is another really great book that's hard to talk to anyone about. except online!

Thank you for being there and helping me.

this Aliens Among Us??? Is it real old? Or fairly recent?

I think we might need a new board ... for Extraterrestrial Discussion.... if I can figure out how to spell it.

Essay is about finished... but in the end, I think it was an example of finding my own path...

The experiment to include Cy made the paper much better... He turned out to be more of a co-author.

I wanted to write something beautiful and uplifting... but I guess I must trust in my guidance that something is in there that somebody needs.

Another thing I learned...I thought I had nothing to say, but was guided to this post. Now, I still have so much more I want to say.. but basically had to cut the essay off.. it's really much too long as it is.

Sincerely, Karen

Yes it's really old. Also "The 12th Planet" is old. It's a real eye opener!

I hope we have the stamina to read this essay when you "publish" it here. Ha Ha Remember, I'm dyslexic. Have mercy!

If you and Cy are doing it, I will read every word. Guided messages are also very interesting to me. Thank you in advance for following your guidance on my behalf and that of all seekers here.;) :D :)

Hopefully Karen will get the final essay soon. I've been having issues with it bouncing back from her email account. :(
