Hi everyone!

I hope it's OK to post this here. I'm putting together a special cookbook and I'm looking for contributions to it (recipes, not money :)).

For now, it's called "Cooking With Love," and will be made up of recipes that have been handed down by family members who have passed on. Each page will have the recipe, a picture of the dish, and then a picture of the family member who created or passed it down, and an anecdote about them from the contributor. I thought it would be a lovely way of sending love to the family member or friend, and then sharing the love - and wonderful recipes - with others.

I am doing this on a small scale for now, but the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. I'm working with a wonderful photographer and graphic artist and we're making sure the book comes out beautifully.

Thanks for reading, and I'd love to hear from anyone who'd like to contribute to it.

Thanks!
Sarah

I would love to contribute to your book. I had a very dear aunt that gave me a recipe for bread pudding. She died a few years ago when she was just 52. The recipe is in her own handwriting and I will always treasure it. You can IM me with the details on where to send the recipe and picture.

LA Dreamer,
What a very nice idea! I think that's great. I have nothing to contribute but I just wanted to tell you I thought it was a really nice way to remember those who meant so much.
