Reputation thingy

I know my reputation thingy is off how do I turn it on and what does it do? I mean what is it for. When does it change from an unknown quantity?

Jilly's moving this weekend, she'll be a bit busy. I just clicked on the purple star at the bottom left corner of your post.. then it gives you a place to put your name and the reason why you thought the post was outstanding.

Now, if you go to your user cp.. just click on your name in a post anywhere.. it should show that you were given a 'great post' star in your reputation. Thats the best I can explain it.. anybody else want to help out here?

go into ur user cp scroll to the bottom or middle of the page u will see points there or reps there sometimes messages sometimes just reps
